I am Professor of Practical Philosophy at Stockholm University, Pro Futura Scientia Fellow at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study, and researcher the Institute for Futures Studies. 

In July-August 2024 I will be a Harsanyi fellow at ANU’s Centre for Moral, Social and Political Theory. From fall term 2024 I will be a Wallenberg Academy Fellow at Stockholm University.

My current research focuses on decision-making under extreme uncertainty, ethics of risk, distributive ethics, population ethics, climate ethics, and catastrophic risk.

I defended my PhD thesis from the London School of Economics in May 2014.
