I am Professor of Practical Philosophy and Wallenberg Academy Fellow at Stockholm University, and researcher at Institute for Futures Studies where I am part of a project on Transformative Ethics.

My current research focuses on reasoning and decision making under extreme uncertainty and catastrophic risk, ethics of risk, and environmental ethics (in particular climate ethics).

In 2019-2024 I was Pro Futura Scientia Fellow at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study, financed by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond.

I defended my PhD thesis from the London School of Economics in May 2014.
